The deal between you and LifeFrame, written to actually be read.

These Terms are an agreement between you and LifeFrame Innovations Inc. (“LifeFrame,” “we,” “us”). They cover the LifeFrame app and website (the “Services”). By creating an account or using LifeFrame, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 during the beta, give accurate sign-up information, and be allowed to use the Services where you live. One person per account; don't share or sell yours.
LifeFrame is pre-release software. Features will change, some will break, and we may pause or reset parts of the beta. Please keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely to improve LifeFrame, without owing you anything.
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@lifeframe.app if you think someone else has used it.
Your Frames, images, notes, comments and everything else you create or upload (“your content”) belong to you.
To run LifeFrame, you give us permission to store, copy, display, process and deliver your content, for example to show it on your devices, sync it with your calendar, generate images you ask for, and show it to the people and audiences you share it with. This permission is only for running and improving the Services, and it ends when you delete the content, except for copies others have legitimately adopted and routine backups.
Only upload content you have the right to share.
Invites give the people you choose a live view of your Frame. You stay the owner and can remove people later.
ReFraming permanently turns your Frame into a template others can adopt. It can't be undone, so make a copy first if you want to keep a personal version. When someone adopts your ReFrame, you allow them to use their copy and change the parts you left unlocked, and they get credit-linked to you as its creator.
Sharing to “Everyone” puts content on your public wall and may show it in LifeFrame's discovery feed.
Don't use LifeFrame to break the law, harass or threaten anyone, share hateful, violent or sexually explicit content, share anything sexual involving minors, impersonate someone, infringe someone's rights, spam, or spread malware.
Don't create or share AI images that depict a real person in a way they haven't agreed to, or that could deceive people.
Don't scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or try to break into the Services or other people's accounts.
You can report content or people in the app. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
LifeFrame can generate images and suggestions with AI. This is new technology, and it won't always get things right. Generated images may be inaccurate, odd, or not look how you'd expect, including getting a person's age, appearance, skin tone or gender wrong. Please don't take it personally: it's a limitation of today's AI, not a judgment about you, and we're working to improve it over time.
Generated images are provided as-is. You're responsible for the prompts you write and for how you use and share the results. LifeFrame isn't responsible for what an AI model produces, but you can always delete or regenerate an image, and please report anything harmful.
Your plan includes a set amount of AI generation. When you reach it, generation pauses until your allowance resets or you upgrade.
LifeFrame has a free plan with limits, including on AI generation, and paid plans with more. What each plan includes is shown in the app before you buy.
Paid plans are billed through our payment provider (Stripe) and renew automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time; you'll keep your paid features until the end of the period you've paid for.
Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We'll give you advance notice of any price change, and it applies from your next billing period. Prices may not include taxes.
We may adjust plan limits over time, and we'll tell you before any change reduces what you've already paid for.
If you connect Google Calendar or another service, you let LifeFrame access it as described in our Privacy Policy, to provide the features you turned on, including two-way sync. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. You can disconnect at any time.
Syncing means changes flow both ways, so edits or deletions in one place can appear in the other. Check your settings if something looks off, and tell us about sync problems.
LifeFrame can send in-app, push and email notifications. You choose which ones you get in Settings, apart from essential account messages.
The LifeFrame name, logo, app, design and software belong to LifeFrame Innovations Inc. These Terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the Services.
During the beta, LifeFrame doesn't offer paid creator features or a marketplace. When it does, they'll come with their own terms.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
LifeFrame is a life-design tool. It doesn't provide medical, mental-health, financial, legal or other professional advice.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIFEFRAME INNOVATIONS INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AFFILIATES WON'T BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU WON'T EXCEED THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100).
You agree to cover LifeFrame's reasonable costs, including legal fees, from claims arising out of your content, your misuse of the Services, or your breaking these Terms or someone else's rights.
You can delete your account any time in Settings or by emailing hello@lifeframe.app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk. Sections that should logically survive (like ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after your account ends.
We'll tell you in the app or by email before meaningful changes take effect. If you keep using LifeFrame after that, the new Terms apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If there's a dispute, let's talk first. If we can't resolve it, it will be settled by binding arbitration in Alberta, in English, under the rules of a recognized Canadian arbitration body, except that either of us may go to court to protect intellectual property, and nothing here removes rights the law in your home jurisdiction gives you.
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Services. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing something isn't a waiver. You can't transfer these Terms without our consent; we can transfer them as part of a merger or sale. The English version governs.
